CFA Yokosuka Fleet & Family Support Center, also known as the FFSC, falls under the installation commander’s Fleet and Family Readiness Department that includes MWR and Housing.


FFSC provides a wide range of programs and services to assist Sailors and their families with the challenges of a military lifestyle. Offering programs including Ombudsman, Relocation Assistance’s Area Orientation Brief / Intercultural Relations program, the Family Employment Readiness Program, providing dozens of classes including Japanese language and financial trainings, and assisting both established and incoming community members find the correct answers from off-base trash sorting to preparing to bring your pet to Yokosuka, the FFSC’s mission is to enhance operational readiness, strengthen resiliency and quality-of-life in the Forward Deployed Naval Forces by providing customer focused, consistent, and efficient programs and services.

CFA Yokosuka FFSC has two offices on Main Base and one satellite office in Ikego. On Main Base, the primary office is located on the fourth floor of the Community Readiness Center across the street from the Commissary. The FFSC’s Transition Assistance Program office, or TAP, is located in the Fleet Recreation Center on the third floor in the Navy College wing of the building. Ikego’s office is next to the NEX Mini-Mart, a short walk from Jimmuji Gate.





The FFSC is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but does close on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment or register for AOB/ICR, please email ffscinfo@us.navy.mil or call 046-816-3372 locally, +81 46-816-3372 internationally, or 243-3372 from a DSN.
